CBI Home Health is looking to hire an Occupational Therapist for the OHT Leading Practice program in the Durham Region. Requirements

• Registered member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
• Ability to travel within the Durham area (valid driver’s license and insurance required).
• Embrace person- and family-centered care with passion and empathy.
• Exercise good judgment and critical thinking in client care decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, thriving in both team settings and working independently.
• Value the role of a therapist in enabling clients to remain at home when it aligns with their personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT interventions, including ADL/IADL strategies, equipment recommendations, and home modifications.
• Use a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to care and services.
• Support a restorative approach to health, offering interventions, health coaching, and self-management support.
• Utilize digital platforms for care delivery, collaboration, documentation, and intervention.
