About The Position
Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel/contract position in Marshfield, WI. This role involves providing Home Health services, including in-home OT treatment programs to assist patients in restoring function and maintaining dignity and independence. The therapist will drive to patient homes in the assigned territories on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist experience: 1-2 years
- Recent/Current Home Health OT experience: 12 months within the last 3 years
- Must have valid Driver’s License and Personal Auto Insurance
- Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy or Similar
- Current State License as Occupational Therapist or Compact if applicable
- BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross
Nice To Haves
- Home Care Home Base (HCHB) charting experience
Responsibilities
- Provide Occupational Therapy services to patients/clients at their homes.
- Utilize skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with the individual's functional level and potential.
- Plans and prepares treatment plan based on evaluation of patient data.
- Provide in-home OT treatment programs to assist patients in restoring function.
- Allow patients and their families to maintain dignity and independence while receiving safe, effective rehabilitation in the security of their home.
- Drive to patient homes in the assigned territories on daily basis.
