About The Position
A healthcare facility in Eastern Montana is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time, permanent position. The role involves assessing patients, developing and delivering individualized treatment plans, educating patients and families, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, and documenting clinical progress and outcomes. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
Nice To Haves
- Previous occupational therapy experience is preferred; at least one year of experience is considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to determine individual needs and establish appropriate therapy goals.
- Create and implement customized treatment plans to improve daily functioning, mobility, and independence.
- Provide occupational therapy interventions using a variety of techniques, equipment, and adaptive tools.
- Guide patients and their families through treatment plans, recovery expectations, and strategies for managing everyday activities.
- Work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support positive patient outcomes.
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation, including treatment plans, patient progress, and therapy outcomes.
