About The Position
Burger Rehabilitation Systems, Inc. is seeking a California-licensed Occupational Therapist for an acute care position at Woodland Hospital in Woodland, California. The position is part-time, and the team can train a new graduate. The role focuses on early mobilization, safe discharge, and preventing further functional decline in hospitalized patients. The Occupational Therapist assesses patients, plans treatment, and provides therapeutic interventions. They support patients with exercises, muscle re-education, activities of daily living, prosthetic training, gait, and functional training; educate patients and families about care plans; and communicate with team members to support quality care.
Requirements
- California State licensed Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients, plan treatment, and provide therapeutic interventions.
- Aid and direct patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, activities of daily living, prosthetic training, gait, and functional training.
- Educate patients and families on proper care plans.
- Communicate with team members to ensure quality care is being provided.
- Focus on early mobilization, safe discharge, and preventing further functional decline in hospitalized patients.
