About The Position

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide personalized care to residents in a continuing care retirement community. Because residents live on campus, the role supports them throughout their continuum of care, assisting with daily living activities and meeting their individual needs. The Occupational Therapist takes a holistic approach to residents’ physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs; implements personal care plans focused on residents’ strengths, preferences, and routines; and works with the interdisciplinary clinical team to address residents’ needs throughout their care.

Requirements

• Current CPR certification.
• A valid and current state Occupational Therapy license.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to residents and support them throughout their continuum of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and help ensure their individual needs are met.
• Support residents’ physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs through a holistic approach.
• Implement residents’ personal care plans, focusing on their strengths, preferences, and preferred routines, while providing comfort, companionship, and belonging.
• Work with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure residents’ needs are addressed throughout their care.
