About The Position

Amistad Physical Therapy is seeking an energetic and passionate Occupational Hand Therapist for a part-time opportunity, with the potential to move to full-time, at their Del Rio clinic. This is a therapist-owned and led clinic that emphasizes a "home away from home" philosophy, fostering a supportive and trusting environment. The leadership team consists entirely of practicing PTs, ensuring a focus on patient care. The role involves making a real impact in a supportive, fun, and professional environment, exceeding patient expectations, and contributing to team development.

Requirements

• Texas OT License (Required).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Hand therapy experience required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong operational and leadership skills to nurture team development.
• Excellent organizational skills to optimize efficiency.
• Advanced computer proficiency, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Expertise in teaching and utilizing EMR software.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Requires manual dexterity and general strength and endurance.
• Routine lifting (5-35 lbs), carrying (5-10 lbs), pushing (5-150 lbs), and sustained gripping (40-50 lbs).
• Guarding lift loads of 120-140 lbs.
