Cantonese Speaking Occupational Therapist OT or Occupational Therapist Assistant COTA for Home Health
About The Position
FeldCare Connects is seeking a self-motivated, Cantonese-speaking Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for home health services. This independent contractor position serves Diamond Bar and surrounding areas, focusing on delivering premier excellence of care to adults of all ages. The role involves assessing and evaluating patient needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, and adaptive equipment. Based on these evaluations, the OT will develop treatment plans, implement interventions to enhance patient well-being, and monitor progress.
Requirements
- Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages
- Occupational Therapist license and registration by the state
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist program
- Cantonese speaking ability

Responsibilities
- Provide services defined by state laws governing the practice of Occupational Therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team.
- Lead the patient in the use of therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve functioning and safety.
- Observe, record, and report the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.
- Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team in the areas of therapy in which they can participate in assisting the patient.
