About The Position

Nyman Associates, providing exceptional therapy services since 1978, is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a hospital-based, inpatient OT role. This is a per diem position, and candidates must have prior medical experience.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or eligibility for certification.
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an occupational therapist.
• Prior medical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and treatment in the hospital settings.
• Consult with medical, and allied health personnel.
• Independently evaluate patients with known using both non-standardized and standardized evaluation tools.
• Develop an individual therapy plan for each assigned patient, which includes goals of treatment.
• Instruct family members and caregivers on in-home therapy programs.
