About The Position
The Occupational Therapist provides therapy services in patients’ homes. The role includes assessing patients’ functional abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, recommending environmental modifications, and delivering interventions to improve independence and daily living activities. This is a permanent position with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay is $37.82–$56.74 per hour. The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance of up to $10,000.
Requirements
- Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Active Iowa Occupational Therapy license; a compact license is accepted.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- At least 1 year of experience caring for a similar patient population.
- Mandatory Reporter training for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse.
Nice To Haves
- NBCOT exam eligibility or completed examination is highly preferred.
