Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the VNA Home Health team. VNA recently celebrated our 50th Anniversary in the Home Health industry. Requirements
- Degree earned from program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- At least one year experience as a licensed occupational therapist in a health care institution preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provides skilled occupational therapy services to those patients/clients referred for such services, and follows the physician's plan of treatment in planning and administering therapy.
- Assists in problem identification and progression toward specific occupational therapy procedure goals, as well as functional activities based on the patient's evaluation.
- Communicates changes in patient's condition which warrants a revision in the plan of care to the TCM & Case Manager.
- Consults with other team members.
- Provides education to staff as well as to patients/families.
- Provides/orders equipment (with physician's orders) as required to increase the patient's function and independence and discharge planning evaluation.
