About The Position
Occupational Therapist (OTR) Per Diem– Home Care in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is a clinician-owned company seeking to expand its team with a Per Diem Occupational Therapist due to continued growth and increasing patient demand. VRNS serves the Tewksbury residential area and works with the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Waiver Program, offering consistent patient scheduling with flexibility and independence. The role involves developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, conducting home safety assessments, providing patient and caregiver education, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Occupational Therapist (OTR) with licensure in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Nice To Haves
- Home healthcare experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of your patients
- Conduct home safety assessments and recommend modifications or adaptive equipment to improve independence
- Provide patient and caregiver education to enhance outcomes and promote functional success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure high-quality patient care
