About The Position

Ascension Alexian Brothers Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist for their Inpatient department in Elk Grove Village, IL. This is a PRN position with a day schedule. The Occupational Therapist will develop, implement, and regularly reassess individualized, patient-centered plans of care in collaboration with patients and families. They will deliver evidence-based interventions across complex diagnoses, including neurological, oncological, orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and medically complex conditions. Additionally, the therapist will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, optimize outcomes, and support safe, effective discharge planning. A minimum requirement of 3 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule applies.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Occupational Therapy (OT) license credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation prior to hire date or job transfer date required. A valid license pending letter will be accepted until license is issued.
Bachelor's degree required.

Nice To Haves

Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
Prior Inpatient experience.
