About The Position
Salinas Valley Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our premier rehabilitation team. We offer a resident-centered environment focused on exceptional clinical outcomes. The Opportunity: Position: Occupational Therapist (OT) Location: Salinas, CA (Beautiful Monterey County) Compensation: $60.00–$70.00 per hour (DOE) Incentives: Quarterly Performance-Based Bonuses Support: Sponsorship Available | Tuition Reimbursement Availability: Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN (New Graduates Welcome!)
Requirements
- Current, valid California Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing.
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and a passion for the geriatric population.
- SNF experience is preferred, but New Graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Complete initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for residents with functional, cognitive, or ADL limitations.
- Provide skilled treatments targeting ADLs, functional mobility, strength, cognition, and safety.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to ensure a safe transition back to home life.
- Work closely with PT, SLP, Nursing, and Medical teams to deliver a holistic, coordinated approach to recovery.
- Maintain precise, timely documentation of resident progress in accordance with California state standards.
- Empower residents and their families through personalized therapy programs and caregiver training.
