About The Position

Right at Home, a locally owned and operated home health business with locations in Cedar Falls and Cedar Rapids, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team. The company's mission, since 2017, is to empower staff to provide exceptional home care services, and they are experiencing significant growth in Eastern Iowa. Home health offers autonomy and flexibility, allowing for a good work-life balance with school, family, and hobbies, while ensuring patients remain healthy at home. The owner, Stephanie Humphries, is looking for an Occupational Therapist who is dedicated to keeping community members safe in their homes and out of hospitals or institutionalized care.

Requirements

• Currently licensed and in good standing.
• Meets the health requirements for employees providing direct patient care.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Have a valid driver's license and an insured automobile.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• A soft spot for our older adult patient population!

Responsibilities

• Covering Iowa City and Cedar Rapids areas and surrounding areas with travel time.
• Providing direct patient care.
• Communicating and documenting effectively.
• Working with an older adult patient population.
