Occupational Therapist
About The Position
The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides a full range of occupational therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment, consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. The role includes conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, helping patients improve functional abilities, educating patients and families about daily living strategies, documenting progress, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Synchrony provides an orientation personalized to the employee’s work environment and ongoing team support.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Must have and maintain a current, valid state OT licensure or registration.
- 0–1 years of experience.
Nice To Haves
- Current valid CPR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
- Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies for daily living activities.
- Document patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
