The position operates under the direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Services, providing evidence-based evaluations and treatment sessions focused on emotional regulation, sensory processing, executive functioning, and daily activity participation. This role involves collaboration with other specialty providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. The role offers a hybrid work environment with the option for onsite work as needed in Pittsburgh, PA clinic locations.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
  • Valid Pennsylvania state license in Occupational Therapy.
  • At least two years of experience providing occupational therapy services in a pediatric or multidisciplinary setting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.
  • Proficient in navigating electronic medical record systems and related technology.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continued professional development.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.
  • Flexibility and initiative to adapt in a dynamic, innovative work environment.
  • Receptive to clinical feedback and committed to professional growth.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with telehealth preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a set number (minimum 6 per week) of 60-minute occupational therapy evaluations (direct clinical service), with 30-minute documentation time (non-direct clinical service).
  • Identify candidates for short-term, focused OT treatment programs and conduct 30-minute treatment sessions as clinically indicated.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings (approximately 30 minutes per week).
  • Maintain a clinical schedule that includes a combination of morning and evening evaluation times (8–10 am and 3–7 pm) and weekday/weekend availability (preference for candidates with weekend availability).
  • Primarily focus on weekday evaluations after 3 pm EST and/or weekend evaluations.
