About The Position

The Mead Therapy Center is seeking a dependable and flexible Occupational Therapist for a PRN position. This role involves building lasting relationships with residents/clients and working with a team that appreciates passion and enthusiasm. The Occupational Therapist will provide consultation, evaluation, and assessment of residents/clients, participate in treatment planning and implementation to help them reach rehabilitation goals, perform thorough and concise clinical documentation on time, and provide education on treatment/equipment to residents/clients and their families. The Mead Therapy Center is located on the Cypress Cove campus, a beautiful 60-acre life plan community in South Fort Myers, offering a full complement of living options. The premier 3,500-square-foot therapy center provides both in-patient and out-patient care with state-of-the-art technologies and innovative therapies.

Requirements

A valid FL Occupational Therapy license.
A genuine interest in and compassion for older adults.
Ability to demonstrate teamwork – be proactive, resourceful, and collaborative.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate between residents/clients and staff.

Responsibilities

Providing consultation, evaluation, and assessment of residents/clients.
