Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Active California Occupational Therapist License in good standing.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Current TB clearance.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving function and independence.
  • Help patients develop, recover, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and work-related activities.
  • Establish measurable functional goals and monitor patient progress.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Supervise and support therapy aides and students, as applicable.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, payer, and organizational requirements.
  • Contribute to a positive clinic culture focused on teamwork and exceptional patient care.
