About The Position

Sentara Health Acute Care/Inpatient Rehab is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapist for their Float Pool. This role involves assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to improve functional mobility, relieve pain, correct disabling conditions, build or restore vocational/daily living skills, and enhance general independence. The therapist will provide age-appropriate education to clients and caregivers and supervise identified team members.

Requirements

• Master's In Occupational Therapy
• NBCOT (National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required within 6 months of eligibility.
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury and help build or restore vocational/ daily living skills as well as general independence.
• Provide age appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
• Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
