About The Position

Sunnyview Rehabilitation is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist for our school-based program. Sunnyview is a Nationally ranked facility and is recognized as one of the top 30 “Best Rehab Hospitals” according to U.S News and World Reports. Our exceptional team of Occupational Therapists perform evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards and recommended techniques. They establish, implement, and adapt an individualized treatment plan of care, including appropriate goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency, and document accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree.
• Current NYS OT license and registration.
• Must be able to function well within a team concept of rehabilitation professionals.
• Flexibility, exceptional clinical reasoning skills, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards and recommended techniques.
• Establish, implement, and adapt an individualized treatment plan of care (including appropriate goal setting, treatment activities and frequency).
• Document accurately and in a timely manner.

• Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
