About The Position

Stern at Home Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in their homes throughout Oahu, Hawaii. The role provides one-on-one patient care, with part-time W-2 employment or a flexible PRN opportunity. Occupational therapists manage their caseload according to their availability and patient needs, with administrative support for scheduling, coordination, and logistics. The position offers clinical autonomy over evaluations and individualized treatment plans, and shadowing is available for occupational therapists newer to home health.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Hawaii.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.

Nice To Haves

• Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide one-on-one treatments based on each patient's functional needs and goals.
• Help patients improve independence, safety, mobility, and daily function.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and members of the clinical team.
• Coordinate with the administrative team regarding scheduling, patient care, and logistics.
• Manage a caseload based on availability and patient needs.
