About The Position
This position provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of occupational therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned. We provide a thorough on-boarding process to all new hires and mentorship from experienced staff is available. Regions Rehabilitation offers in-services on a wide range of topics that can help grow your clinical experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensed in MN as an Occupational Therapist
- Registration with the Minnesota State Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist
- Current certification with the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy within 6 months
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience in similar settings/diagnosis.
- Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
