About The Position
Eyas Landing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Saturday-only Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their multidisciplinary team. This role involves providing evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative environment. The OT will work with children and families in the clinic, schools, and homes, focusing on individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. The position aims to foster each child's sensory processing and integration, motor coordination, fine motor development, and independence.
Requirements
- Must be available on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.
- Must commit to a 3, 4, or 5-month period.
- Must have fewer than 3 absences out of 12 during the commitment period to be considered for future opportunities.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with DIR/Floortime, Intentional Relationship Model (IRM), and reflex integration.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy to children and families in the clinic, clients' schools, and homes.
- Work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.
- Foster each child's sensory processing and integration, motor coordination, fine motor development, and independence.
- Provide individualized therapy.
- Implement client-centered therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Intentional Relationship Model (IRM), and reflex integration.
- Collaborate daily with physical and speech therapists, and social workers.
- Document progress and communicate with families to support continuity of care.
