About The Position
Liberty POST is seeking Per Diem Early Childhood/Pediatric Occupational Therapists in Goshen, NY; Wappinger, NY; Sugar Loaf, NY; and Ulster County. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Liberty POST has provided high-quality, individualized services since 1994, backed by Liberty Resources Inc. As part of a large social services network, POST has grown from its origins as a speech-language practice to offer a range of services across New York State and Indiana. They employ over 500 professionals in various settings and utilize a collaborative team approach for evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. Their focus is on the child's natural learning environment, the family's strengths and needs, and the diverse population they serve.
Requirements
- Current New York State License and Registration in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Driver’s License
- At least one year of experience working with early childhood
- Current OT License and Certification
Nice To Haves
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play for children aged birth to 5 years old through Early Intervention programs.
- Work with children who are birth-5 years old through Early Intervention programs.
