The Occupational Therapist (OT) in Outpatient Rehabilitation at Sturgeon Bay is responsible for evaluating patients' physical, perceptual, cognitive, social, and vocational abilities and their impact on daily living activities. The OT will establish and implement individualized treatment plans using appropriate techniques, provide and/or fabricate assistive devices and splints, and monitor patient outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed. This role involves planning for patient discharge, including home programs, patient/family teaching, and ordering equipment. The OT will communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, complete all required documentation accurately and on time, and maintain productivity standards. Responsibilities also include cleaning the work area, performing manual techniques, patient positioning, transferring, and transporting duties, and demonstrating skill in the use of modalities and exercise equipment. The OT will promote patient safety, participate in performance improvement activities, manage their caseload, and pursue professional growth. They may also supervise occupational therapy assistants, extenders, and students.
