About The Position

AnthroMed Education is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for an elementary school setting, serving students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. This role involves providing direct occupational therapy services, supporting students in various classroom settings, conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements

• Active Illinois IDFPR Occupational Therapy license required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning and developmental needs

• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K–5
• Support students in both resource and self-contained special education classrooms
• Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
• Support students' fine motor development, sensory processing, self-care, classroom participation, and functional independence
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to meet individual needs
