About The Position
East Bay Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our premier in-house therapy department. We are looking for passionate clinicians who value a supportive, high-energy environment where clinical excellence and a fun work environment go hand-in-hand. We welcome both seasoned professionals and New Graduates who are looking for a "friendly team" atmosphere. Our in-house program prioritizes patient-centered care over third-party constraints.
Requirements
- A valid California Occupational Therapist (OT) License.
- A compassionate, resident-first mindset.
- Strong communication and clinical leadership skills.
- Open to New Grads.
Responsibilities
- Create evidence-based treatment plans focused on regaining ADL proficiency.
- Supervise COTAs and provide clinical guidance to the nursing restorative team.
- Drive holistic recovery through active participation in Patient Care Conferences and Utilization Reviews.
- Maintain precise, compliant evaluations and notes for seamless care transitions.
- Provide caregiver training and recommend adaptive equipment to ensure safe discharges.
