Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current registration with NBCOT and licensed (or license-eligible) in the state of Colorado
Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered mindset
Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Familiarity with adaptive tools, splinting, positioning, and environmental design considerations

Nice To Haves

Minimum one year of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred

Responsibilities

Evaluating residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using standardized assessments
Developing and executing individualized care plans that address mobility, self-care, and daily functioning
Educating residents and caregivers on the use of adaptive equipment, techniques, and home programs
Documenting evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with regulatory and company standards
Consulting on facility modifications and ergonomics to enhance accessibility and safety
Supervising and collaborating with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as applicable
Participating in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives
