About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Acute Care Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in a hospital setting. The OT will evaluate, plan, and deliver patient-centered therapy interventions to improve functional independence in an acute care environment.

Requirements

• WA Occupational Therapy License (IN HAND REQUIRED)
• Acute care OT experience (hard requirement)
• Strong clinical reasoning and rehabilitation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
• EPIC experience preferred
• IPR (Inpatient Rehab) experience is a plus
• Ability to float between units

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatment plans
• Provide acute care rehabilitation services to hospitalized patients
• Support patients with mobility, ADLs, and functional recovery
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy teams
• Document patient progress in EPIC EMR system
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
• Float between units as needed
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
• Manage patient caseload (approx. 1:10 ratio)
• Provide education to patients and families
