About The Position
PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join its home health care team in Central Waco, Texas. The Occupational Therapist partners with patients in their recovery, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life at home. The role focuses on restoring mobility, enhancing functional abilities, promoting health, preventing disability, and supporting long-term wellness through hands-on interventions tailored to each patient’s needs. The therapist provides skilled services to homebound clients who qualify for Medicare coverage.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas.
- Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas.
- Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage a variety of patient personalities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic techniques.
- Professional, compassionate demeanor and excellent communication skills.

- Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient conditions and create individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills.
- Educate patients and families on techniques that support recovery and independence.

- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed.
