About The Position

The Occupational Therapist treats assigned patients by obtaining accurate prescriptions, reviewing charts adequately, evaluating patients, and documenting according to policy. The role uses a variety of therapy techniques to evaluate patients, establish plans of care, and provide effective treatments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One year of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Current occupational therapy licensure from the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
• Obtain and maintain required orthopedic education and training under the Houston Healthcare Joint Destination Center of Excellence Policy.
• Complete and maintain required stroke education and training under the HHC Primary Stroke Center / Acute Stroke Ready Designation policy.
• Ability to use a variety of therapy techniques to evaluate patients, establish plans of care, and provide effective treatments.
