About The Position
PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist for its home health care team serving Cotulla, Encinal, and Dilley, Texas. The role partners with patients in their homes to help them regain independence, improve quality of life, restore mobility, enhance functional abilities, and support long-term wellness. The Occupational Therapist promotes health, helps prevent disability, and provides hands-on interventions tailored to each patient's needs. Services are provided to homebound clients who qualify for Medicare coverage.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas.
- Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas.
- Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage a variety of patient personalities effectively.
- Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic techniques.
- Professional, compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills.

- Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient conditions and create individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills.
- Educate patients and families on techniques that support recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services to homebound clients who qualify for Medicare coverage.
