About The Position

Soar Autism Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their interdisciplinary clinic network. This role focuses on providing life-shaping services to children with autism and their families, emphasizing early intervention and integrated autism care. The Occupational Therapist will work with young children to develop motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills, contributing to a team that includes occupational therapy, speech, ABA, and mental health services. The position is designed for clinicians who are committed to continuous learning and delivering high-quality care within a collaborative environment.

Requirements

Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current license to practice occupational therapy.
A playful, engaging approach and the ability to build strong connections with young children.
Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to thoughtful, individualized care.
Interest in collaborating across disciplines and learning from clinicians with different areas of expertise.
Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver naturalistic, developmentally appropriate occupational therapy for children ages 2-6 in a center-based, early intervention setting.
Develop individualized interventions that support fine motor skills, gross motor skills, feeding, sensory needs, and other activities of daily living.
Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and develop coordinated treatment plans alongside clinicians in ABA, speech therapy, psychology, and other specialties.
Collaborate closely with speech therapists and other clinicians, including opportunities for co-treatment and shared clinical problem-solving.
Coach and mentor RBTs so occupational therapy goals can be reinforced throughout a child's day while supporting their own clinical growth and development.
Monitor client progress and continually adapt treatment plans and goals based on data, clinical judgment, and each child's evolving needs.
Partner with families to develop meaningful goals, communicate progress, and provide practical strategies they can use outside of therapy.
Bring OT expertise to weekly interdisciplinary care meetings, helping the team understand the whole child and build coordinated approaches to care.
