About The Position
LTC Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team in Worcester. This is an opportunity to work with both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents, helping individuals regain independence and improve their ability to perform meaningful daily activities.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license required
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents' functional abilities, strength, mobility, and activities of daily living
- Develop individualized treatment plans designed to maximize independence and quality of life
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for orthopedic, neurological, and medically complex conditions
- Recommend adaptive equipment and educate residents, families, and caregivers on safe techniques
- Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines
