About The Position

Sheridan Community Hospital is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to support our Rehabilitation Services team across inpatient, outpatient, and short-term rehab (swing bed) settings. This is an ideal opportunity for therapists looking for flexibility, supplemental income, or a break from high-volume healthcare systems, while continuing to provide meaningful, hands-on patient care. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Michigan Occupational Therapist license required
• CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation settings
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on therapy plans and home programs
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Maintain strong focus on patient safety, outcomes, and experience
• Participate in quality improvement and departmental initiatives
• Adapt to varying patient volumes and treatment needs
