PRN Occupational Therapist - Inpatient/Acute Care
About The Position
PT Solutions is hiring Occupational Therapists for Advent Health in Hendersonville, NC. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based, quality care to patients in an inpatient/acute care setting, empowering them to reach their previous level of functioning or proceed to the next level of care. The position involves establishing timely treatment plans, fostering positive connections with patients, families, and colleagues, and building relationships with hospital staff such as physicians, case management, and nurses. Requirements
- Graduate of an ACOTE approved occupational therapy program
- Registered with NBCOT
- Current or pending state licensure
- Basic Life Support certification
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to previous level of functioning or proceed to next level of care
- Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)
