About The Position

A healthcare facility in Eastern Montana is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time, permanent position. The role involves assessing patients, developing and delivering individualized therapy, educating patients and families, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining clinical documentation. The position offers a supportive work environment and a pay range of $33.50–$50.24 per hour. Relocation assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis, and two months of complimentary temporary housing are offered to help with the move. The community offers a lower cost of living, a rural setting, and outdoor recreation opportunities, including hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, biking, and wildlife watching near the Yellowstone River.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

Nice To Haves

Previous occupational therapy experience is preferred; at least one year of experience is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to identify individual needs and establish therapy goals.
Create and implement customized treatment plans to improve daily functioning, mobility, and independence.
Provide occupational therapy interventions using a variety of techniques, equipment, and adaptive tools.
Guide patients and families through treatment plans, recovery expectations, and strategies for managing everyday activities.
Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.
Maintain detailed clinical documentation, including treatment plans, patient progress, and therapy outcomes.
