About The Position

At Eden Medical Center, our Occupational Therapists play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. In this role, you will assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans designed to restore and enhance daily living, vocational, and functional skills for patients with a wide range of conditions. You will build strong, collaborative relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams—earning trust through thoughtful assessment, attentive care, and clear communication. Your expertise will directly support patients in achieving greater confidence and independence in their everyday lives. This position also offers the opportunity to mentor and guide others, including providing clinical supervision to therapy assistants and aides, as well as serving as a clinical instructor for students. We are committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care, and you will play a key role in upholding all regulatory requirements while ensuring patient safety, privacy, and exceptional outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited occupational therapy program.
  • OT-Occupational Therapist OR OLP-Occupational Limited Permit.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
  • Valid Driver's License (for Home Health).
  • Auto Insurance (for Home Health).
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
  • Critical thinking, complex problem solving, decisive judgment and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work in a demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities, and complete work duties within expected timelines and requirements.
  • Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
  • Effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.
  • Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
  • Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.
