The Occupational Therapist will work in the Acute Rehab Unit and is responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients. This role involves implementing treatment plans based on developmental stages, evaluating functional abilities and disabilities, and establishing treatment goals. The therapist will administer treatments, maintain patient records and documentation, and collaborate with physicians, nursing, and other hospital staff. Patient and family involvement in the plan of care, including post-discharge planning and education, is also a key aspect of this position.
