About The Position

LLA Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a clinic-based role in Northeast Ohio. This position is open to new graduates and offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth and collaboration. The clinic has over 30 years of experience in pediatric therapy and focuses on helping children shine their brightest through effective communication, mentoring, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Requirements

Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university program of Occupational Therapy.
Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Ohio.
Valid Driver’s license.
FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire)
Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body.
Positive and goal-oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices.
Must be able to handle stressful situations.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations on assigned patients.
Design individualized treatment plans and materials to match the patient’s unique learning profile.
Provide therapy according to the treatment plan while monitoring progress and adjusting therapy.
Document, monitor, and analyze the patient’s progress and effects of treatment.
Communicate, educate, and provide family training on the patient’s individualized treatment plans.
Consult and collaborate with family and other staff or supports (i.e., physician, school district, other therapies).
Create and submit all reporting, including appropriate recommendations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Oversee the treatment provided by certified occupational therapy assistants (COTA’s) according to established licensing laws, state regulations, and OT practice standards.
