About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist - Outpatient for a 13-week travel assignment in Woodruff, WI. This position involves assessing patients' physical, communication, and cognitive skills to develop treatment plans, providing support to family members and caregivers, and assessing home, school, and work environments. The role also includes installing and teaching the use of necessary equipment for children with disabilities, helping patients participate in daily activities, assisting with pain relief exercises, reviewing patient progress, and performing administrative tasks. The contract is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 5/26/2026. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 4 9-hour days, with guaranteed hours per week of 36. There is a possibility of weekend coverage for inpatients and potential for being put on call due to low census, with a minimum call-back of 2 hours. The dress code is business casual, and vaccination policies regarding flu and COVID-19 must be followed.

Requirements

  • Must have training working with the adult/geriatric population with a variety of orthopedic, neurological and functional mobility diagnosis.
  • Must have WI State OT license
  • BLS/BCLS certification is required
  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan
  • Giving advice and providing support for family members and Carers
  • Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient
  • Installing the necessary equipment in the classroom for children with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipment
  • Helping children and adult patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances
  • Assisting patients’ exercise for pain relief
  • Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly
  • Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls
