Requirements
- Masters Degree; Occupational Therapy
- Basic Life Support (CPR)
- IL licensure as an Occupational Therapist
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years of job related experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluates patients, plans and implements an effective Occupational Therapy program based upon assessment, clinical judgement and psychological sensitivity for inpatients and/or outpatients with diverse diagnoses.
- Provides patient education, consultation and discharge planning, supervises and delegates patient care to Certified Occupational Therapists Assistants, Rehab Technicians and Occupational Therapy students.
- Contributes to the growth of Occupational Therapy Services by assisting with the development of new programs and outcomes/research activities; acts as an operational and clinical resource for staff in areas of expertise.
