About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our skilled nursing rehabilitation team. This role is perfect for a therapist who enjoys creating personalized treatment approaches that help residents improve independence, safety, and participation in daily activities.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide treatment focused on self-care skills, cognitive function, upper extremity strength, and adaptive strategies
- Recommend equipment and environmental modifications to support safe functional mobility and independence
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy staff, physicians, and families to coordinate resident-centered care
- Monitor resident progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation
