About The Position
Ampersand Therapy, a teacher and therapist-run company, is hiring a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2026-2027 school year in the Waynesville, MO area. This is a supportive, mission-driven company created by school-based professionals, looking to welcome new members to their growing team. The role is in-person ONLY and is a full-time position with a competitive pay rate of up to $55/hr. The pay structure includes equal pay for direct and indirect treatment time.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Missouri OT license (or eligible to apply)
- Passion for supporting diverse learners in inclusive environments

Responsibilities
- Conduct pediatric OT evaluations and deliver school-based therapy services
- Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and special education staff
- Complete documentation aligned with school timelines
- Help students access learning and succeed through functional skill development
