About The Position

A hospital located East of Birmingham, AL is looking for a travel Occupational Therapist to join their team. This is a full-time, travel contract opportunity, with the possibility of temp-to-perm. The role involves completing accurate and concise documentation of all communications, coordination, and treatment activity. The therapist will also accept responsibility for evaluating the patient's functional status and interpreting and implementing the physician's plan of care, including completing assessments/reassessments and making decisions based on objective tests and measurements.

Requirements

• Registration as an Occupational Therapist with the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Current and active Occupational Therapist license
• Must be self-motivated, responsible, role model, well organized
• Have a nice appearance being well-groomed and demonstrate appropriate contact

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and concise documentation of all communications, coordination and treatment activity.
• Accept responsibility for evaluation of the patient’s functional status and for interpretations and implementation of the physician’s plan of care.
• Complete assessment/reassessment and makes decisions based upon objective tests and measurements.
