About The Position

The Occupational Therapist is an excellent opportunity to administer participants' evaluations and therapeutic procedures. Requirements

  • Registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association or successfully completed the educational requirements of occupational therapy
  • State of Washington Occupational Therapist license
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification
  • Minimum one (1) year of occupational therapy experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy in accordance with the plan of care
  • Assist the IDT in the evaluation and assessment of the patient's functional level by applying appropriate diagnostic and prognostic procedures and tests
  • Recommend orthotics as indicated by condition and needs
  • Treat the participant through the use of therapeutic activities designed to restore function and self-care activities for the purpose of improving function
  • Observe, record, and report the participant's reaction to treatment and any changes in the participant’s condition to the physician, Clinical Director or designed, or IDT as appropriate
