Canyon Springs Post Acute is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join their in-house therapy team. This role offers a premium hourly rate and the flexibility to manage your own caseload while working in a supportive, high-energy environment. Requirements

  • Current, valid California Occupational Therapist (OTR) license.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and a passion for geriatric or subacute rehabilitation.
  • A proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, resident-centered setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assess residents’ functional status and develop goal-oriented treatment plans to improve Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy to enhance independence, safety, and quality of life.
  • Work seamlessly with PTs, SLPs, and nursing staff to ensure a holistic approach to resident wellness.
  • Maintain timely and compliant electronic documentation to track resident progress.
  • Empower residents and families with adaptive strategies and home program education for a safe transition home.
