As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping individuals of all ages regain and improve their ability to perform daily activities and enhance their quality of life. You will assess patients with a variety of physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges, developing personalized treatment plans that address their unique rehabilitation needs. Your work will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement therapeutic interventions that promote independence and functional recovery. You will also educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and assistive devices to support ongoing progress outside of clinical settings. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the holistic well-being and empowerment of patients facing conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, and orthopedic impairments.
