The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing competent evaluation and treatment to in-patients and/or out-patients in compliance hospital policy and procedures, JCAHO standards and AOTA Code of Ethics. The occupational therapist will have the ability to provide interventions to individuals who experience a loss of and/or deficiency in functional independence related to chronic, traumatic or developmental illness, impairment and/or disability. The therapist must also have the ability to problem solve and work effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians, ability to plan and organize and ability to work independently and in teams. Other duties as assigned.
