About The Position

Total Education Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time role in San Diego, with a planned start in January 2027. The position serves children in a pediatric clinic and in clients’ homes, helping them develop skills such as handwriting, fine motor abilities, sensory integration, and daily living activities. The therapist collaborates with speech therapists, physical therapists, behavior specialists, and other support professionals. The role includes structured onboarding, leadership support, mentorship, training, continuing education, specialty training, and career advancement opportunities. Compensation is $8,320–$9,208.59 per month, depending on relevant experience, credentialing or certification, education, and use of a second language in the role 50% of the time.

Requirements

California state license or certification in Occupational Therapy or as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
Access to a mobile phone for email and basic internet access when working offsite.
Automobile insurance with limits permitting use of a personal vehicle for work, with at least $25,000/$50,000 liability coverage.
Pass a current FBI and DOJ background check.
Current TB test.
Passion for working with children of all ages and abilities.
Willingness to learn, grow, and collaborate with a supportive team.

Nice To Haves

Experience in occupational therapy.
